New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, after being detained twice yesterday, was against stopped from marching to India Gate here to register protest over the suicide by Army veteran Ram Kishan Grewal due to the lopsided implementation of the one-rank-one-pension (OROP) scheme by the Union Government
Rahul was detained twice yesterday when he was trying to meet the family of the deceased soldier.
Police took away Rahul Gandhi in a van when he was leading a Congress party’s candle light march from Jantar Mantar to India Gate. He was then dropped on the adjacent Feroze Shah Road.
