MP Governor Ramnaresh Yadav retires under VYAPAM’s shadow
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor Ramnaresh Yadav, tainted by the VYAPAM scam, was given the “Guard of Honour” by the police team at Raj Bhavan today on completion of his five year term and was seen off at the airport by State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, his wife Sadhna Singh, former Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, and State Minister for Public Relations Narottam Mishra.
The Chief Minister was also at the airport today to receive Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli, who is taking charge as Madhya Pradesh Governor.
A warm farewell was given to Yadav by the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan. Chief Secretary Antony De Sa, DGP Rishi Kumar Shukla, Principal Secretary to Governor Ajay Tirki, Additional DGP K.N. Tiwari, Senior Officers and employees were present on the occasion.
Governor Yadav while addressing the gathering said that support lent to him during the last five years is praiseworthy and exemplary. He wished bright future and happiness for all.
Yadav released a book published on his speeches during his term as Governor.
