Bhind SP Navneet Bhasin with illegal arms and ammunition seized from arms smugglers

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): The Bhind district police today busted an arms smuggling racket by arresting three persons and seizing from their possession 7 pistols, a 315 bore country-made firearm and 300 rounds of cartridges at Gohad crossing.

Today’s arrests and seizure are the outcome of a massive police drive led by district superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin against those involved in smuggling of arms.

Under the ongoing police drive, more than 400 firearms and 1340 cartridges have been seized by the police. This is the biggest haul of illegal firearms under the leadership of any police SP.
