Dubai: Tomorrow is the day of Eid al Fitr which means the fasting of blessed month of Ramadan is over. So today is the last day of Ramadan and tomorrow is the first day of Shawal , as it starts immediately after the end of Ramadan.
The UAE’s moon sighting committee met at the Judiciary Department in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, Minister of Justice to confirm the start of the month of Shawwal, which will mark the end of Ramadan and start of Eid Al Fitr that will fall tomorrow ( Wednesday).
Here people look at the crescent moon as it is a yearly tradition. On Monday, the 29th day of Ramadan, the moon was not spotted. Hence Eid Al Fitr will be on Wednesday.
The Muslims pray to Allaah to strengthen them in Ramadan, accept their fasts and prayers and reward them with His forgiveness and to give them the highest place in Paradise.
