Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be on a five day visit to China from June 19 to 23 on a special invitation from the Communist Party of China.

A high level delegation led by Chouhan will be meeting the leading business groups and heads of major companies to attract investment for speedy development of Madhya Pradesh.

Accompanying the Chief Minister during his China visit will be Minister for Industries Yashodhara Raje Scindia and those from the industrial sector, including energy, textitles, renewable energy, agro and food processing. The industrialists who will be part of the CM’s delegation would include Rajinder Gupta Chairman of Trident Group, Vineet Mittal, Abhinav Mayank of Welspun Energy, Dhiraj Saluja of SEL Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Kamal Oswal of Nahar Group of Industries, Ashwani Arora of LT Foods, Neeraj Jain of Vardhman Group, Ratul Puri of Hindustan Power Projects Pvt. Ltd, Vikalp Mundra of Ujaas Energy and Harish Bhojwani of Econ Antri Limited, Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Sulaiman and Principal Secretary to C.M. S.K. Mishra.

Chouhan will reach Beijing on June 19, Sunday. He would be received by Dr. B. Gala Bhaskar, Charge d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Beijing.

The Chief Minister will address a business seminar – Invest in Madhya Pradesh at Beijing on June 20, Monday. Zhang Yujing, President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) will deliver the opening remarks. The Chief Minister will highlight before the CCCME, the major initiatives and policy benefits Madhya Pradesh offers to support industries and new investment.

The same afternoon, the Chief Minister will hold one to one meeting with heads of leading Chinese companies and invite them to Madhya Pradesh. He will meet Liu Jiaqiang Vice President China National Chemical Engineering Company (CNCEC), Liang Wentaa, Vice President China Fortune Land Development Company, Shi Yongge Vice General Manager, Jiusant Group, Huang Liang CEO of Global Investment, Shenyang Yuanda Thrive Engineering Company, Alan Lear Deputy General Manager of Entreprise Management Department, Sinopharm International Company, Yang Yaguan, General Manager India Market Beijing Choice Electronic Technology Company and Chen Yanshun CEO, BOE.

Shri Chouhan will also meet Liang Wengen Chairman of Sany Group and discuss business opportunities.

The Chief Minister will attend a cultural event organized by the Chinese Government on June 21, Tuesday. He will hold discussions with Zhao Leji Member Politburo of CPC, Minister Organization department of CPC and Beijing Mayor Wang Anshun on June 22, Wednesday at Beijing.

The Chief Minister will also meet business leaders at Invest in Madhya Pradesh Business Seminar organized by Confederation of Indian Industries. He will meet the Governor of Guangdong before leaving for Delhi on June 23. Thursday.
