Dubai: UAE, a country with many shades, has come up with another shade of humanity by signing an MoU with Saudi Arabia yesterday to take ties between both countries to a new level.
The agreement to set up the cooperation council was attended and witnessed by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia. The MoU signing was held at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the UAE by Ali Mohammad Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary General of the UAE Supreme National Security Council and Dr. Nizar Madani, Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
The agreement fir cooperation lays emphasis on the strong social,cultural, religious and historical ties between the two countries and both are now committed to pursuing common goals together.
The Council will be chaired by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Mohammad Bin Salman, Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
This MoU is based on mutual respect between two countries on the basis of social, cultural historical legacy and traditions and the two countries are focused towards allround Emirati-Saudi development.
