Siwan (Bihar): Rajdeo Ranjan, the Siwan district bureau chief of Hindi daily “Hindustan”, was shot dead here tonight.
Ranjan was targeted about 8 pm when he was riding his motorcycle nerar the Siwan railway station. He died when he was being rushed to hospital.
Another journalist, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, a TV reporter, was shot dead at Dewaria in Chatra district of Jharkhand on Thursday by unidentified gunmen.
