PM calls emergency meeting of Cabinet to discuss Uttarakhand crisis
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called an emergency meeting of the Cabinet to discuss the Uttarakhand crisis following a sting operation allegedly showing Uttarakhand Chief Minister offering bribe to an MLA before a trial of strength in the Assembly on Monday.
At the time of publishing this report, the Cabinet meeting was continuing to discuss the Uttarakhand Governor’s report at the 7 Race Course residence of the Prime Minister.
It is learnt that the President’s rule option cannot be ruled out.
