Pathankot: Two of the four heavily armed terrorists, who stormed into the Pathankot Air Base of the Indian Air Force in Punjab this morning, have been killed, according to official sources.
Action was on at the time of filing this news to neutralize the others. Some defence personnel, who have been injured during the exchange of fire have been rushed to hospital.
In the wake of the pre-dawn terrorist attack at the Air Force station, alert has been sounded on the nearby Jammu-Kathua highway, not far from the Pakistan border, and security beefed up.
