New York : The much awaited summit is going to take place amidst leaders of the world, where India is getting represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has kept UNSC reforms on his mind, which is the major agenda scheduled for the summit.
A high-powered G4 summit is scheduled to include German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. Four countries Germany, Japan, Brazil and India will share the discussion table with UNSC reforms topping the agenda.
These four countries together known as G-4 group countries have had a record of backing each other in support of every country’s bid for permanent seat at the UN security council.
The security council is the mother body which is incharge of international peace talks and amendments which are to be incorporated into the UN charter.
