Ahead of 50 hours before the launch, this rocket aims to put in six foriegn satellites along with India’s ASTROSAT, making it a total of seven, into their respective orbits.
ASTROSAT is India’s dedicated multi-wavelength space observatory maiden satellite that will help decode the understanding of the universe.
India has so farlaunched 45 foriegn satellites on payment basis.
According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Saturday countdown for the launch of the polar satellite launch vehicle (PSLV) began as scheduled at 8.00 am.
The rocket with seven satellites will blast off on Monday at 10.00 am. from the first launch pad of the rocket port at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
