Ceasefire violation is topic of the day for India-Pak
New Delhi : Chakan Da Bagh will stand witness to one of the major issues that bothers the neighbors in this part of the world. India and Pakistan will be seated face to face with questions on their minds expecting answers to flow through, which may or may not convince the other side. It is yet to be found out how the talks proceed as they are scheduled sometimes later today.
Defence Ministry revealed that the brigade commander level meeting between Indian and Pakistani Army will take place at Chakan Da Bagh crossing in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir today.
The Director General (Media and Communication) in Defence Ministry Sitanshu Kar confirmed via micro-blogging website Twitter this morning about this meet.
How far will the discussion lead to and how much border matters will be resolved by this discussion, only time will tell. It is expected from the Indian side that Pakistan admits its temptational ceasefire violation tactics and decides to give it a final thought once and for all.
Pakistan stands daringly adamant and continues to repeat the blunders of ceasefire violation, forcing Indian military to retaliate with force. As Home Minister Rajnath Singh has reiterated time and again, India is seeking peace and does not indulge in violations. The initiation is always done from the Pak side, and India is in no mood to sit back and take it on its chin. Not anymore, said the Home Minister earlier, after Modi government has taken control of India’s border matters.
