Dismissed IAS officer Arvind Joshi surrenders in court

Arvind JoshiBhopal: Tainted and dismissed IAS officer Arvind Joshi surrendered in the court of Additional District judge D P Mishra here today in a disproportionate assets case.

Joshi has been sent to judicial custody till September 19. Earlier this month (September 2) the Supreme Court had rejected his anticipatory bail application.

Lawyers representing Joshi sought bail for their client taking the plea that he was suffering from blood cancer and had to go for bone marrow transplantation but the bail application was rejected by court. More
