MP’s virtual classroom “VIDYA” project selected for Skoch Award

VIDYA projectBhopal: Madhya Pradesh’s virtual classroom “Vidya” project has been selected for Skoch Order of Merit Award-2015.

Video Interactive Dedicated for Your Awareness (VIDYA) project has been shortlisted for award from among about 100 e-Governance Projects of the country. The jury comprising experts chose Madhya Pradesh for this award from large number nominations and about 300 presentations.

Science & Technology Minister Bhupendra Singh has expressed happiness over the state being conferred this award and congratulated all concerned.

It is noteworthy that over 400 virtual classes are being held through this project in the state facilitating about 25 thousand students. In virtual class room, students are taught through video-conferencing and their queries are also replied. MAP-IT of Science & Technology Department is running this project in collaboration with NIC and Education Department.
