Narendra Modi sounds BJP’s election bugle in Bihar

Gaya (Bihar): Prime Minister Narenda Modi today sounded the bugle for the coming election in Bihar by taking potshots at stater Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his “Parivartan Rally” in the Maoist affected Gaya district of Bihar.

He said that the JDU led by Nitish Kumar is a party of exploiters.

Modi-GayaTaking a dig at the Nitish regime, the Prime Minister said that Bihar continues to remain backward and to drive home his point said that the State has the lowest per capita consumtion of electricity.

Drawing attention to the Bodh Gaya bombing, Modi said that its aftershocks have left a negative impact on tourism especially when it comes to Bodh Gaya as an important tourist destination.

The Prime Minister blamed parties opposed to the BJP and said that they are vitiating the atmosphere in Bihar. The coming election will free the state from the scourge of Jungle Raj, he added.

Senior journalist Shitanshu Shekhar Shukla sees a Modi wave sweeping across Gaya in Bihar today. Emphasising that former chief minister Jitan Manjhi bites Nitish hard and deep, he said there is an interesting battle on cards. Regarding RJD, Shukla observed, it doesn’t have a strong base in Magadh (Gaya). Bhujang Prasad will be chuckling up his sleeves to see Jitan Manjhi holding Modi in good stead.
