Story Line
Based on Marvel Comics legendary characters, Ant-Man surprises us with its simple, light, sometimes corny tone and renders a funny entertaining watch albeit unbelievable fantasy situations and hyper-imaginative make-believe world of fiction.
Catching up from where the original Ant-Man left years ago, this movie brings Hank Pym and Darren Cross face to face from the 1st frame. Darren has advanced the taken-over Pym Tech into ambitious shrinking projects, challenging Pym and his Pym Particle “decrease in size, increase in strength by altering atomic distance” theory saying, “Laws of nature transcend the laws of man” .
Pym wows to sabotage Darren’s plans and chooses a new protégé, Scott Lang, who reminds Pym of himself.
Scott, the Electrical Engineer, the magnificent con-heist around, walks out of prison and wows never to return there again for the Love of Cassie, his doting daughter. “Be the Hero that she thinks you are” he is told.
Opportunity knocks Scott’s burglary-door when his terribly amusing pal Luis suggests a plan. “An old man who is away for a week” presents a big theft chance and Scott breaks in. When he finds nothing but a ready-to-wear suit with a helmet inside this old man’s Carbon dated 1910 safe, Scott takes a trial and wears the suit and helmet upon him. As he presses the red-button on his palm-ridge of the suit, his perception of entirety changes !
“Everyone deserves a shot of redemption” says Pym and convinces Scott to take upon the unfinished business of Pym world.
Scott, the Ant-Man, interacts with the Ant-world and guides the activities of these tiny, skilled creatures. Hope (Pym’s daughter) educates him on the varieties of Pym-enabled ants, the Crazy Ants, the Bullet Ants, the Carpenter Ants, the Fire Ants, The Red Shrinks, the Blue Enlargers………
Will the trio of Pym-Hope-Scott succeed in breaking into Darren’s scheming, destructive, scientific endeavours with the support of highly obedient innumerable marching and flying ants ? Watch the shrinking and enlarging images of Ant-Man to find it out !
Note – There are two end-credits scenes, so stay till the very end kids.
