New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accepted Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s invitation to visit Ujjain during the Simhastha festival next year.
Chouhan called on the Prime Minister at his South Block office in the capital. During the meeting lasting about 30-minutes, the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister briefed Modi about the preperations for the simhastha festival next year.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister that Simhastha 2016 at Ujjain will be an ideological mega-event. As part of this festival, the State government will be organising a series of seminars revolving around spirituality and dharma. The festival will conclude with the release of the Ujjain Declaration by the Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister also took the opportunity to invite the Prime Minister to the Vishwa Hindi Sammelan to be held at Bhopal in September 2015.
