Defence Minister of North Korea Hyon Yong-chol has been executed, according to media reports.
According to what has been reorted by a section of the media, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency has reported that the spy agency of Korea has told Parliament Hyon was killed on 30 April by anti-aircraft fire in front hundreds for allegedly showing being disloyal to Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s leader who runs the State with an iron fist.
The Yonhap report is said to be based on a briefing by the South Korea’s National Intelligence Agency (NIS). According to what has been reported, Hyon fell asleep and failed to carry out instructions at a function attended by Kim Jong-un.
