Mumbai: Union Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting, Arun Jaitley today presented Indian Cinema’s highest honour – the Dadasaheb Phalke Award – to renowned actor and producer Shashi Kapoor at an elegant ceremony at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.

Jaitly described Shashi Kapoor as one of the most versatile actors. Leading film pesonality Amitabh Bachchan said on this occasion that Kapoor has remained a wonderful friend and colleagure

Present on the occasion was the entire Kapoor clan, Secretary Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Bimal Julka and several leading Bollywood stars.
