Mason Programme at Harvard University: April 6 is deadline for GOI officers to apply for full funding
New Delhi: Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) of Government of India today announced that officers interested in the Edward Mason programme at Harvard University, have to take admission directly and then apply to DoPT for full funding under the Domestic Funding of Foreign Training (DFFT) Scheme.
DoPT today issued a circular stating that all officers who have confirmed admission for Mason Programme at Harvard University and are eligible could apply for sponsorship under the DFFT scheme through their controlling authorities, along with all necessary clearances, including the vigilance clearance, annual confidential report and grading by April 6, 2015.
The Mid-Career Master in Public Administration Edward S. Mason Program (Mason Program) is the Harvard Kennedy School’s flagship international program. Each year, approximately 80 leaders from developing, newly industrialized and transitional economy countries participate in this one-year master’s degree program that is designed to prepare them to address development related challenges.
