German jetliner crashes in French Alps with 150 onboard

GermanwingsParis: 
A German jetliner on Düsseldorf from Barcelona flight lost altitude for eight minutes and then crashed without giving distress call in the French Alps on Tuesday morning.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said none of the 144 passengers and six crew members on board the Germanwings Airbus A320 survived.

Germanwings GmbH is a German low-cost airline based in Cologne, which is wholly owned by Lufthansa.
