Mumbai: The Income Tax department in Mumbai has issued an in-house clarification indicating that the revised list of Eligible Officers for Promotion to the post of Income tax Officers (Grade-B)-Mumbai that had been circulated on March 12 is only a draft list and is not final.
Income Tax Mumbai office issued a clarification (March 16) stating that the revised list of officers eligible for promotion as ITO issued earlier this month is subject to modification and amendments. The deadline for filing objections to this list is March 27.
