Kejriwal pushes for full statehood to Delhi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Delhi chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal that the proposal for full statehood to Delhi would be considered.

Kejriwal pushed the case of full sattehood for Delhi when he called on him, along with party MLA Mansih Sisodia in New Delhi today. Modi was extended the invitation for the swearing-in of Kejriwal scheduled for February 14 but he declined saying it will not be possibile to attend the ceremony due tp prior engagements.

Kejriwal also raised this statethood matter when he and Sisodia met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during the day.
