New Delhi, Feb. 8: Unscrupulous elements are trying to lure and dupe candidates seeking recruitment in Intelligence Bureau and looking at the gravity of the problem, the Union Home Ministry even has been compelled to issue a warning against such “fradulent offers” by the “unscrupulous elements”.
The Home Ministry has said in a “Public Notice” that some unscrupulous elements are fraudulently inviting applications for various posts in the Intelligence Bureau. Such elements are also alluring the aspirants appearing in various written examinations conducted by IB for providing assistance during the examination and are even issuing fake appointment letters to some of the candidates.
The Home Ministry has cautioned the unsuspecting job aspirants and candidates against the unscrupulous elements who are trying to dupe them. The general public has also been earned not to respond to any “fraudulent” advertisement. The Home Ministry has informed the public that the recruitment in IB is done through the Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission and by holding dedicated All India recruitment examinations for some posts. During the recruitment processes, applications are invited online only through the portals of UPSC, SSC and MHA and there is no provision of submitting hard copy of applications offline.
